Andrea Louise Martin, more commonly known as Andrea Martin, wears multiple hats—she’s an American-Canadian actress, singer, and comedian. Born on January 15, 1947, in Portland, Maine, she’s the oldest of three kids born to Sybil A. and John Papazian Martin. Her educational journey led her to Emerson College.

Personal Life

Once married to Canadian screenwriter, actor, director, and producer Bob Dolman, Andrea has two sons, Joe and Jack. They divorced in 2004 after being together since 1980. She even has a grandchild through her eldest son. She was also related by marriage to actor-comedian Martin Short, who married Bob Dolman’s sister, Nancy.

Andrea is best known for shows like SCTV and Great News. But that’s not all. She’s had her share of the big screen, with roles in movies like Black Christmas, Wag the Dog, and even the My Big Fat Greek Wedding series. Voice work? Yeah, she’s done that too.
