What Happened In Only Murders in the Building Season 3 Episode 4?

Mabel begins the fourth episode, “The White Room,” by searching for an apartment in New York City. Unfortunately, Mabel’s money situation prevents her from moving into a decent flat. Mabel, meanwhile, gets a strange SMS from an unknown number. Meanwhile, Charles begins to feel anxious once Joy moves in with him. Charles, however, acts as if he has no problem whatsoever with his girlfriend moving in with him. Charles, on the other hand, must work on a song for Oliver’s show.
Charles, Oliver, and Mabel get together to talk about who could have killed Ben Glenroy. Oliver admits he has love feelings for Loretta but is waiting for the “right time” to ask her out on a date. Mabel explains that they have very little information and that they should examine Ben’s death onstage for hints. To learn more about the identity of the murderer, she proposes tracking down the person who poisoned Ben.
Meanwhile, Oliver insists that the murderer should be someone whose capture would have no bearing on the plot. On the other hand, Mabel thinks Kimber’s relationship with Ben ended badly, which is why she murdered the actor. From Kimber’s TikTok account, Mabel learns that Ben used Kimber’s anti-aging stuff to fake a younger appearance. So Mabel thinks Kimber poisoned Ben with the serum. The cast and crew later practice at Oliver’s house, and Charles is given the opportunity to sing.
Charles, however, blacks out on stage and finds himself in the “White Room,” a mental space performers visit when they blackout during a performance. In order to avoid blanking out, Jonathan suggests that Charles find his happy place via singing. Mabel, meantime, thinks she can find out who poisoned Ben by looking in his closet. She tricks Howard into handing up the locker combo.
Charles, on the other hand, is so nervous before singing the song that he makes himself an omelet, which immediately calms him down and helps with his performance. Joy, on the other hand, claims that she alone is Charles’ source of joy. Joy, using Ben as an example, likewise threatens to harm anybody who crosses Charles. While in the locker area, Oliver and Mabel bump into Kimber. Mabel is discussing her feelings for Ben with Kimber as Charles and Oliver are in Ben’s dressing room.
Mabel and Kimber have an honest chat about her romance with Ben. Kimber, however, admits that she never dated Ben and simply looked for him because of his enthusiasm about her serum. Ben, however, changed his mind about accepting the promotion at the last minute. Mabel, meantime, answers the messages from an unknown number and agrees to meet the sender, who introduces herself as “Cinda Canning.” Simultaneously, Charles and Oliver find a shocking clue in Ben’s closet.
Mabel finds a mean note scribbled in lipstick on the mirror in Ben’s dressing room in the big scene. Mabel eventually goes to see Cinda Canning, who gives her a job offer. After finding that Mabel is looking into Ben’s death, Cinda offers Mabel a ton of money to deliver her own podcast. Mabel, however, is not wanting to split up from Charles and Oliver, even though she might need financial assistance.
On the other hand, Oliver discusses Charles’s disappointment at Joy’s decision to move in with him with Charles. Because of this, Oliver is able to get Charles to meet with Joy. Charles continues to have memory slips as they are discussing their living situation with Joy. Charles decides to propose to Joy instead of breaking up with her. When Mabel and Oliver show up there, Joy admits that the lipstick that was discovered in Ben’s dressing room really belongs to her.
In addition, Kimber revealed that Ben had brought in a makeup artist to cover up a red mark on his face before the first performance. The end of the episode seems to indicate that Joy was there in Ben’s dressing room on the evening he passed away. Ben apparently had a conversation with her in the video Tobert (Jesse Williams) found. Mabel follows this new lead, and Joy becomes the main suspect in Ben’s murder when her lipstick is discovered at the site.
