Born on January 26, 1989, in the small town of Jamestown, New York, Nany Gonzalez’s roots trace back to the Dominican Republic, making her a proud Dominican-American.

The story of her family is quite poignant. Her father, Leonel Gonzalez, was imprisoned at the time of her birth, and tragically, he passed away in 2002. Her mother, Carmen Guerra-Ferry, struggled with an addiction to crack and lost her battle with it, leaving this world on October 29, 2021. Nany wasn’t alone, though; she grew up with four sisters in the family: Jasmine, Rosa, Crystal, and Stephanie Gonzalez. Their bond as siblings added warmth and strength to their lives amidst the challenges they faced.
