Charlotte Ritchie, born on August 29, 1989, is an English actress and singer. The Ritchie family lives in Hendersonville, Tennessee, a charming town near Nashville. Charlotte Ritchie was born in Clapham Town, London, United Kingdom, to her loving parents, Elise Ritchie and Robin Ritchie. Throughout her childhood, Charlotte grew up alongside her two siblings, Luke Ritchie and Alice Ritchie.

She attended James Allen’s Girls’ School in Dulwich and became involved with Youth Music Theatre UK, appearing in their production of Red Hunter in 2005. She pursued her education while filming Fresh Meat and earned a degree in English and drama from the University of Bristol.

Charlotte Ritchie is a happily married woman to Greg Ritchie, a highly talented drummer for the Homecoming concert tour. They are blessed with two beautiful children named Landon and Jayna.

Ritchie began her acting career in 2004 with a short film called The Open Doors, where she played the character Vera. Five years later, she made her television debut as Emily Owen in the British comedy series Life of Riley. Although the show only ran for three seasons before being canceled.

It provided Ritchie with an early platform for her talent. One of Ritchie’s notable roles came when she portrayed Melissa “Oregon” Shawcross in the British comedy-drama TV series Fresh Meat. This role helped elevate her status within the industry. She also appeared in BBC Three Sitcom Siblings as Hannah alongside Tom Stourton.

In 2015, Ritchie experienced a breakthrough moment in her career when she joined the cast of the BBC period drama Call the Midwife as Nurse Barbara Gilbert. This role showcased her versatility and garnered further recognition for her acting abilities.

Since then, she has made guest appearances in several popular series, including Drunk History UK, Doctor Who, Death in Paradise, McDonald & Dodds, and Stath Lets Flats. She is also recognized for her remarkable roles in the popular series Ghosts, Dead Pixels, and Feel Good.

In recent times, Charlotte also joined the cast of the TV series “You” in the role of Kate Galvin and the popular series “Grantchester” as Bonnie Davenport.
