Born in Cairo, Egypt, in 1988 to an Austrian diplomat father and a Syrian painter mother, she grew up in a home filled with many languages. English, Arabic, German, and Italian were spoken so frequently that they all became her native tongues.

Her educational journey led her to the University of Stirling in Scotland, where she earned a Master of Science degree in Psychology.
